FILA recently released a truly unique, limited edition Disruptor 2 design, with the footwear first debuting at the Milan Fashion Week. The Disruptor 2 earned the coveted Footwear News “Shoe of the Year” award in 2018 and remains one of the brand’s most popular silhouettes worldwide. This season, FILA’s statement-making shoe has received its boldest update yet, crafted in a striking, silver sparkled hue.
To celebrate this special silhouette, FILA Philippines hosted a one night only event, dubbed the "Born to Disrupt" Party last Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the Manila House Private Members Club, 5th Avenue BGC. A huge crowd came together to celebrate release of the FILA Made in Italy Disruptor. The crowd was filled with the brand’s friends, celebrities, influencers, life style & street style enthusiasts.
FILA made a unique three photo wall installation where the stylists & photographers took pictures of the influencers wearing FILA Apparel & the latest shoes. Everyone was in awe when they saw the Made in Italy Disruptor in a glass box. The brand returns to its roots with the “Made in Italy” drop, elevating the classic design, luxe textures and tones, which offer a fashion-forward look.
The artists of MIDAS Music & Entertainment featuring DJ Waffster, Ms. Bodycon 2019 Michelle Arceo, Aloura and a special performance from DJ Arra Pascual also showcased their love for the FILA’s storied brand history by giving intensifying performances during the event.
The Born to Disrupt Party also became an opportunity for the CEO and owner of FILA Philippines Cris Abad Santos – Albert to encourage everyone to never doubt themselves, fly their own colors, fight for their equal opportunities and do what makes them happy because we’re all born to disrupt.
The FILA Disruptor 2 “Made in Italy” is exclusively available in select FILA boutiques and online at FILA.com.ph. The silhouette will retail for P14,999 with only 100 pairs available in the country.
